One of my favorite rituals has become my Saturday mornings – I take the same 8:30 AM SoulCycle class (MK is my all-time favorite!) and then do a quick change and meet Blaine and Callie at the Ferry Building Farmer’s Market where we grab breakfast and pick up fresh flowers and produce. It just feels very San Francisco and it starts my weekend off right by de-stressing and sweating out any baggage from the week and then getting to spend time with my favorites in a favorite spot in the city.
To make the quick shift from workout to weekend I’ve been turning to Dear Kate’s Nothing Under Yoga Pant – good basic black leggings can be hard to find and my Dear Kate pair has passed every test I’ve thrown at it with flying colors. First off, they aren’t at all see through (important!) so you can take ’em to yoga class without risk of flashing your classmates during downward dog. Secondly, you don’t have to worry about panty lines because they actually have underwear built right in which makes ’em the most comfortable leggings around. Finally, they’re ultra flattering with a wide waistband and seams that actually make your legs look longer – I’m usually not one for wearing leggings as pants but these have me fully converted.
Leggings and a tank are my typical SoulCycle uniform and I’ve been loving my Dear Kate pants because of their comfort and support; they stay in place for the entire ride so I can focus on my tap backs, not my wedgie or saggy pants. After class I make a quick switch to a fresh shirt (if you’ve ever done SoulCycle, you understand why… sweating is no joke!) and layer on a cardigan for the unpredictable San Francisco weather. Sneakers are swapped out for Birkenstocks and I’m able to make the quick transition from my morning workout to our Saturday morning farmer’s market trips.
To celebrate my love for Dear Kate and the launch of their new yoga short, we’ve teamed up to give away 2 pairs of shorts! Follow along on Instagram for details on how to snag a pair for yourself and one for a friend.
